Hanging baskets wanted for Brownie project

Hello Folks,

We have a local Brownie Group coming to Sandown over the next few weeks to do some badge work.

We wondered if any of you might have old hanging baskets that you no longer have a use for. If so, could you please drop them off to the Sandown site. If you could leave them by the barrels on the way to the Eco-loo that would be just great. If you have no means of delivering- please call (or contact via the web-site e-mail) and we can arrange collection.

Many thanks for your help

Fruit trees planted - thanks to all helpers with the work projects

Thanks to Billy for this picture of some of the fruit trees planted last night. The committee really appreciate all the help with the various ongoing projects to finish off the Mill Road site. Karen will be picking up the bedding plants for the barrels next so watch out for details of when that task goes ahead.

Spare gardening tools needed for good cause

Hello Folks,

Wonder if any of you can help here.

Have been approached from a chap from a charity working with adults and young people who have additional support needs. They are trying to set up a gardening "club" and are in need of garden tools.

If any of you have spare or old garden equipment that is still in good condition, but that you no longer need or want, please could you consider donating to them. You can leave your donations against the gate of plot 16 (Sandown) and I'll see that they are delivered.

Could we say that we'll collect through out the month of May?

Many thanks for your help

Karen
